Wendy is an amazing communicator. She is able to clearly explain concepts and also make a class/lecture very, very enjoyable. She relates to students and is an excellent TA.

Had a lot of fun in this class this quarter. Wendy is very approachable, intelligent, and patient. Class discussions were exciting, interactive, and very useful. Overall, Wendy is the most enthusiastic TA/professor I’ve had at UCLA. A+

Wendy has been a great TA. She is very welcoming and is genuinely concerned with her students’ learning. Her discussion / presentation is extremely well-organized, and help a lot. She is perhaps the best TA I’ve had during my 2 years here at UCLA.

Strengths: Easy to talk to; Knows material well; Good timing on due dates; Gives the correct amount of homework and we use it in class.
Weaknesses: I didn’t really see any. She is a good TA passionate about what she is teaching. The class is enjoyable.

Wendy was very helpful in expanding on the lecture material. The discussion and integration with current articles relating to lecture materials made what we were learning much more relevant.

Wendy is an excellent teacher. She was easy to approach if needed and she really cared about my progress. She is absolutely friendly and great at communicating spanish lessons. I had to transfer from X’s class and thank god I did because Wendy is sooooo much better at helping and teaching students than X! I really can’t say enough great things about Wendy. I am so grateful I got to have her as a teacher. I’d recommend her to anybody and everybody!

Wendy is amazing and I am so grateful to have had her as my TA. She makes the classroom environment very fun and anxiety-fee while ensuring that we were learning effectively at the same time. She is easy to communicate with and clearly cares about her students. Wendy is the best!

Classes were very focused, and the emphasis on always speaking the language, instead of just writing it was great. There was an even balance of speaking, listening, and writing the language, which made this class really helpful in ways that other language courses haven’t been.

Literally one of the best teachers I have had at UCLA. Her teaching methods thoroughly helped me learn the materials. Without her I might have been completely lost in Spanish 3, but she presented the language in a way that was understandable and manageable. She is the best Spanish TA we have at this school. Thank you so much Wendy for being an amazing teacher and accessible friendly resource.

Wendy is very patient, and was really good about not just giving us answers in English but really making sure we all understood while still explaining in Spanish. The exercises she gave us also worked very well with what we were learning in the book. I always felt comfortable asking questions and seeking help outside of class.

This was an introduction to Spanish and I cannot imagine a better TA then Wendy. She is encouraging, intelligent and patient. We all felt comfortable going to her for help. She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She should get a raise! Best TA ever! We ALL LOVE her! I cannot speak high enough of her. She went above and beyond for us!
